I was asked to make a shader for the digital counterpart of artist CloudNones mask, to be animated in Unreal Engine for a music visualizer. I built a shader that allows for several BPM synced effects and fine control over several bands of the 'tears', allowing for granular control but retaining simplicity to avoid making animating overly complex.
